Tässä Rover 200 / 400 -sarjaan vikakoodilistaa ja ohjeet miten vikakoodit luetaan.
Koodit ovat Rover 200 / 400 sarjaan, ENNEN näitä pyöreämallisia (eli pre-Bubble-shape), eli -90 luvun alusta kutakuinkin -95 - -96 asti.

Honda ECU vikakoodin luenta:
Jos kojelautaan ilmestyy ”Check Engine” valo voi vikaa selvitellä hivenen oma-aloitteisesti ja mahdollisesti myös paikantaa ja korjata vika.
”Honda” Rovereista ECU löytyy matkustajan puolen jalkatilasta. Nosta irtonainen matto pois tieltä ja sen jälkeen verhoilu pois tieltä. Verhoilu on muutamalla ”kertakäyttöisellä” nastalla kiinni, joten varaa uudet ettei verhoilu jää repsottamaan.
Pellissä on silmä, jonka kautta näet ledin josta se vikakoodi luetaan. Vikakoodin lukeminen tapahtuu seuraavasti: Laita virrat päälle, mutta älä laita moottoria käyntiin. Huomaat, että ledi alkaa vilkkua. Vikakoodit luetaan välähdyksistä. Yksi lyhyt välähdys tarkoittaa ykkösiä ja yksi pitkä välähdys tarkoittaa kymmeniä. Niiden lukumäärästä saadaan kumpikin numero selville ja allaolevasta listasta katsotaan vika.
Vikakoodit ovat toistaiseksi englanniksi, mutta jahka saan aikaa ja näen tarpeeksi vaivaa ne ilmestyvät myös suomeksi tänne.
