Intro

I worked in solution design, sales and implementation/support on Fiber Channel SAN. HP (Compaq) StorageWorks MA/EMA, EVA, Dell PV and Dell|EMC CX arrays. I just wanted a change of scene after 15 years of IT. It was also very frustrating to pay UK retail prices for Landy upgrades, so I went to manufacturers directly and became a reseller/agent for all sorts of landy upgrades and accessories. The workshop kind of just happened though!

I'll be looking for work as soon as we arrive - Most likely in IT again although I'll try to avoid a purely sales role for sure. That's a game I don't want to play any more so I'll hopefully find technical work, VMware, SAN, server admin. etc. We're not necessarily looking to stay in Heinavesi for long - It's a nice place to visit, but I'll miss being closer to a city where we can access everything we need easily.

Here's one more who's pretty much "done" with IT being there since '85 in various roles as a specialist/tech and last >15 years project/program management and service delivery management for multinational/global programs/clients....definitely I will also look something really different and enjoyable for the rest of my working years - now it's said out loud hock:...the sooner the better :roll:
